LOCAL ELECTIONS UPDATE, NOT COVERED ON SHOW - This week has been much better than last week. If nothing else, my cold is going away! I went out monday and tuesday afternoons and went door to door in a couple of neighborhoods. It was interesting and HOT. If anyone has time to cover the area around their house, drop me a note and I'll get you the door hangers. I also went to the Spokane Valley and participated in a Republican forum. I had a great time, and was happy that they made me feel welcome. Tomorrow I'll go to Audubon park from 6-8pm and meet and greet people during their music festival. Come by and join me. Finally, friday we are having the KYRS candidate forum at Aunties bookstore at 6pm. Join us at Aunties, or listen live on 92.3fm.

PALIN AND ALASKAN SOVEREIGNTY? - Here is an odd little story about Alaskan Sovereignty and the Tenth Amendment of the US constitution. I'm not a Palin fan, but anything that brings some discussion about federal vs state rights if good by me.

IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT (AND I FEEL FINE...) - Ireland is suffering the cost of borrowing money, and the price it can cause their society. This story is a tale of caution that other governments should read.

YET ANOTHER GOVERNMENT TAX INCREASE FOR FUNDING - The county is going after another tax increase to fund increased fire and safety costs. Am I the only one that would like a full accounting of who makes what in our community.

SAD DAY FOR CONSPIRACY GUYS, LUNAR LANDER SPOTTED ON MOON!! - This is heart breaking for my conspiracy friends. They actually found, and took picture of the lunar laner in Tranquility bay. Now my buddies will have to find another conspiracy to fight for.
